You are cordially invited to visit Milk House Fiber Studio at The Dahmen Artisan Barn in Uniontown, Washington.
Visit as we spin and knit items from our selection of wool and alpaca products, locally grown on our own farms.
Judy LaLonde offers alpaca roving, fleece and yarn in amazing natural colors, and knitting patterns by local designers. Wool products include washed fleece, roving, tanned sheepskins, handspun and mill spun yarns from my spinner's flock of sheep. I use Earthues Natural Dye extracts to dye silk, wool fiber and yarn available for sale in the studio, and have dye kits available so you can color your own world of fiber.
The Dahmen Artisan Barn is a beautiful, three story, historic barn generously donated for use as artist studios. The Barn has been lovingly renovated to provide a place to support art and community.
My friend, Judy LaLonde and I transformed the old milk house into a working studio. We spent over 70 hours remodeling, and with the help of other barn volunteers, opened our studio in May of 2010.
You can find us working in the studio on Fridays and Saturdays, the Barn and Milk House FIber Studio are open to visitors Thursday through Sunday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
